Per Scholas is seeking a Cybersecurity Instructor who blends deep technical expertise with a passion for teaching. You will deliver lab-first instruction across cybersecurity fundamentals, security operations, and ethical hacking while fostering an inclusive, high‑accountability learning environment.

You will guide learners toward certifications such as Security+ and CISSP, monitor progress, provide feedback, and support course completion and graduation in a fully remote instructional setting.

• Prepare learners for Security+ and CISSP certifications with real-world context.
• Monitor learner progress and provide timely feedback and coaching.
• Mentor cyber projects from scoping to demonstrations for employers.
• Inform curriculum and labs with current threats and practices.
• Collaborate with staff to improve labs and learner outcomes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead lab-first instruction across cybersecurity fundamentals, security operations, endpoint security, and ethical hacking; guide learners through hands‑on scenarios using current cybersecurity tools and environments.
• Prepare learners for industry‑recognized certifications, including CompTIA Security+ (SY0‑701) and CISSP, while connecting concepts to real-world practices.
• Manage learner progress from foundational skills through advanced application, providing timely feedback, intervention, and coaching.
• Mentor cybersecurity projects and capstones from scoping to employer-ready demonstrations.
• Inform curriculum, labs, assessments, and certification alignment with emerging threats and tech.
• Collaborate to improve labs, rubrics, and learner outcomes in a remote setting.
