Job summary

Per Scholas is seeking a Cybersecurity Instructor who combines deep technical expertise with a passion for teaching and developing career-ready technologists. You will deliver hands-on instruction across cybersecurity fundamentals, security operations, endpoint security, and ethical hacking in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field with relevant certifications.
• Experience teaching adult learners in technical subjects is preferred.
• Ability to translate complex cybersecurity concepts into practical learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead lab-first instruction across cybersecurity fundamentals, security operations, endpoint security, and ethical hacking.
• Prepare learners for certifications such as CompTIA Security+ and CISSP up to exam readiness.
• Monitor learner progress and provide timely feedback and coaching to support course completion.
• Mentor cyber projects from scoping to employer-ready demonstrations.
• Inform curriculum and labs based on current threats and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with staff to continuously improve labs and rubrics.
