Job summary

MITRE is seeking a cybersecurity intern to collaborate with experienced professionals on real-world challenges across cybersecurity and information security. You will gain hands-on experience in areas such as adversary emulation, deception, cyber forensics, threat intelligence, and more, while contributing to secure, resilient systems.

The position requires full-time student status in a related program and ongoing enrollment after the internship, with an on-site minimum of three days per week.

Qualifications

• Must be a full-time student pursuing an accredited degree program in a Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related disciplines.
• Must continue to be enrolled the semester following the internship.
• Foundational knowledge in cybersecurity and/or information security methodologies, frameworks, tools and/or programming languages.
• Must have sustained excellence in academic performance.
• This position has an on-site requirement of 3 days a week minimum.
