Qualifications

• Pursuing BS/BA in Cybersecurity, Information Security, CS, or related field.
• Fundamentals of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, VPNs).
• Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, CIS, OWASP) a plus.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows system security.

Responsibilities

• Participate in security status meetings and provide reports to Security Managers
• Work with Security Architects to develop and implement security solutions
• Monitor security systems and analyze security events, logs, and alerts
• Assist in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities
• Document security incidents, findings, and remediation procedures
• Work with IT teams to deploy security controls and monitor system configurations
• Support security compliance initiatives and audit processes
• Investigate potential security incidents and escalated threats appropriately
