Job summary

IBM Cybersecurity is seeking an ambitious intern to support real client security projects across applications, data, cloud environments, and critical infrastructure.

You will work with experienced consultants to gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity, cloud technologies, security operations, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities. Interns may be considered for full-time Associates based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a university degree with strong academics (preferred majors: CS, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Math or related).
• Demonstrated problem-solving, adaptability, and teamwork in projects.
• Familiarity with network security concepts and authentication/authorization methods.
• Exposure to cybersecurity domains such as Threat Management, Security Operations, or Cloud Security.

Responsibilities

• Support real client security projects across applications, data, cloud environments, and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with seasoned consultants to build hands-on cybersecurity skills.
• Assist in security monitoring, risk management, and automation initiatives.
