Qualifications

• Pursuing BS/BA in cybersecurity, information security, CS, or related field.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, VPNs).
• Familiar with security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, scanners).
• Familiarity with NIST, CIS Controls, OWASP is a plus.
• Basic Linux/Windows security understanding.
• Able to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Eager to learn and adapt to new security tools.

Responsibilities

• Participate in security status meetings and reports.
• Work with Security Architects to develop security solutions.
• Monitor security systems and analyze events.
• Assist in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Document incidents and remediation steps.
• Collaborate with IT to deploy controls and monitor configurations.
• Support security compliance and audit processes.
