Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a technology leader to build and lead a team delivering enterprise applications and modern Agile solutions. The role focuses on strategy, design governance, and collaboration with product and partner teams to meet business outcomes in a global, in‑office setting.

You will mentor engineers, drive performance reviews, and manage production delivery with a strong emphasis on risk, security, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong project management experience structuring and delivering complex initiatives.
• Proven experience in Enterprise Application Development delivering large-scale projects with local and distributed teams.
• Working knowledge of Java, Spring Boot and Microservices architecture, Angular/React, Typescript, CSS/HTML.
• Deep knowledge and experience with identity and access management (IAM) and authentication technologies, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, FIDO2/WebAuthn, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and LDAP.
• Knowledge and experience in containerized deployment at an enterprise scale leveraging platforms such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
• Proficiency in leveraging AI‑powered development tools to improve engineering productivity, code quality, testing, and software delivery outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills required with ability to manage and collaborate with senior stakeholders and provide leadership updates.
• Ability to positively drive work forward and create a strong result orientated team environment.
• Structured approach to defining, solutioning, executing, managing risk, and evidencing deliverables.
• Ability to operate within a global environment working with stakeholders from multiple locations and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Builds and manages teams informing workforce strategy and hiring practices, setting and tracking maturity and quality objectives, and training employees/teams to address feedback and achieve quality and performance objectives.
• Facilitates performance and career development of employees/teams through performance reviews, coaching, and creating development plans that are needed to build competencies and skills.
• Manages solution delivery and application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards, audit exams and reviews), ensuring all relevant risk, financial, and compliance policies are met.
• Manages relationships with business and technology partners and leads and creates followership in Communities of Practice in the organization.
• Contributes to the technology strategy for their technical domain.
• Creates an inclusive and healthy working environment and helps to resolve organizational impediments/blockers.
• Ensures that execution is aligned with product strategy by working with product management and other stakeholders.
