World Wide Technology, Inc. seeks a Cybersecurity Engineer for the Government Services team in Charleston, SC. The role focuses on defensive cyber operations, threat detection, and security engineering within federal civilian, DoD, and IC markets.

Responsibilities include working with SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, and incident response workflows to improve visibility, reduce alert noise, and speed containment and recovery. TS clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, DLP, and other security systems.
• Understanding of network security architecture and protocols.
• Ability to identify vulnerabilities and perform penetration testing.
• Ability to analyze logs to identify security threats.
• TS Clearance

Responsibilities

• Work with SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, network segmentation, and incident response workflows.
• Improve visibility, reduce alert noise, and speed containment and recovery.
• Apply telemetry, threat hunting, and MITRE ATT&CK-aligned detection in secure ops.
• Support continuous compliance, reporting, and coordination with operations teams.
