Job summary

World Wide Technology seeks a Cybersecurity Engineer with defensive cyber operations expertise for its Government Services team in Charleston, SC. The role focuses on threat detection, incident response, and secure operations in mission-critical environments.

You will work with SIEM/EDR, perform vulnerability management, and coordinate with operations to ensure compliance and rapid containment. A TS clearance is required; hybrid work in Charleston region is supported.

Qualifications

• DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls and DLP security systems.
• Understanding of network protocols and security architectures.

Responsibilities

• Implement defensive cyber operations and threat detection workflows.
• Improve visibility and reduce alert noise across security tools.
• Lead vulnerability management, incident response, and secure operations.
