Job summary

Visa is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer and Security Architect to lead security architecture across Web, API, and mobile platforms. You will drive threat modeling, security reviews, and prototype development with AI/ML to accelerate time-to-market of secure solutions.

You will work with enterprise security architects, researchers, and product teams to ensure secure designs while maintaining Visa's leadership in electronic payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science (or equivalent).
• Cybersecurity training or education.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience or 5+ years alternative.
• Agentic AI development experience.
• Experience with Python and modern ML/AI frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Be a product security champion by driving Security Architecture and Design/implementation/optimization for Web, API and Mobile applications.
• Engage in threat modeling, risk analysis, and alignment with security standards.
• Lead security reviews and design assessments across the development lifecycle.
• Develop prototypes and scalable enterprise security solutions leveraging AI/ML.
• Automate security tools and processes across access control, secure coding, and AI governance.
• Transition prototypes into operational products with cross-functional teams.
• Stay ahead of emerging security trends and technologies.
