Overview

RGNext is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer Principal to support mission-critical systems at Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands. This role involves providing enterprise cybersecurity engineering support, ensuring compliance with DoD policies, and supporting security assessments and audits.

Essential Functions

• Provide cybersecurity enterprise engineering support for networks.
• Utilize Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools for compliance and monitoring.
• Analyze IT system architecture for DoD compliance; develop and execute security test plans.
• Assess and document risks, perform risk assessments, and support Change Management and A&A processes.
• Offer cybersecurity SME support to project teams and clients.
• Develop and present briefings, reports, and summaries.
• Support cybersecurity audits and related activities per RMF processes.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, risk mitigation, and track Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M).
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related STEM field.
• Minimum of 5 years in cybersecurity engineering.
• Experience with SIEM tools like Tenable Security Center, Trellix, Microsoft Defender, Splunk, etc.
• Certifications such as C-CISO, CISM, CISSP, or GSLC, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Knowledge of DoD policies, RMF, and security technical guides.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

Additional Qualifications

• Must be willing to relocate to Kwajalein Atoll.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Passport.
• Current or previous DoD Secret/Top Secret clearance preferred.
• Flexibility to support non-duty hours or weekends as needed.
