This position is located on Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands. It is an unaccompanied position (no family accommodations or pets). Benefits include free housing, three meals a day, and potential overseas tax incentives.

Essential Functions
  1. Serve as the technical lead responsible for ensuring cyber compliance of all systems under Systems Operations and IT Support.
  2. Provide required reporting, compliance status, and trends for all IAVMs and open STIG findings to help ensure POA&Ms are created, worked, and closed within the required timeframe.
  3. Install, maintain, and support servers on physical and virtual platforms supporting RTS initiatives.
  4. Ensure patches, IAVMs, STIGs, and all other applicable settings are applied by the required due dates, or ensure POA&Ms are written.
  5. Ensure the technical integrity and cyber compliance of existing and future design solutions.
  6. Provide day-to-day technical support to users across locations in Huntsville, AL, and the Marshall Islands.
  7. Create, update, and maintain documentation as required.
  8. Provide technical mission support as needed.
  9. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills
  1. Familiarity with ACAS, eMASS, and other standard Army reporting tools for cyber compliance.
  2. Strong shell scripting skills (Ansible, PowerShell, bash, etc.) and understanding of systems interaction and network-dependent applications and services.
  3. Knowledge and troubleshooting skills with VMware vSphere 7.x+.
  4. Knowledge and advanced troubleshooting skills with RHEL 7, 8, 9 OR Windows 11, Windows Server 2022 and later.
  5. Ability to secure physical and virtual machines to DISA STIG requirements.
  6. Ability to deploy, configure, and maintain RHEL and/or Windows systems in a mission-critical environment.
  7. Ability to work independently and provide leadership and mentorship to team members.
  8. Strong documentation, organizational, and cross-functional interaction skills.
  9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Required Experience
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  2. Five or more years of experience in Information Technology.
  3. Must have a DoD 8140.01 / DoD 8570.01 baseline certification for IAT Level III (e.g., CASP CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH) prior to start.
  4. Must obtain or maintain within three months a certification such as MCSE, CCNP, VCAP, RHCSE, or similar to meet DoD 8570.01-M certifications for applicable systems.
  5. Extensive knowledge of Cyber Security concepts, practices, and procedures for enclave systems.
  6. Experience with creating, maintaining, and deploying Ansible playbooks and/or PowerShell scripts is desirable.
  7. Experience integrating security controls into solutions is desirable.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
  1. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
  2. Willingness to relocate to Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands.
  3. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. passport.
  4. This is an unaccompanied position.
  5. Flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or weekends as required.
