Job Description:

This position requires relocation to Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands in support of construction site activities.

  • Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates detailed phases of environmental engineering work.
  • Develops environmental systems, applications, and procedures.
  • Conducts environmental engineering studies and prepares environmental impact reports for new construction projects and permits.
  • Provides technical assistance and interacts with project functions, clients, and regulatory agencies to resolve regulatory issues and ensure compliance with industry codes and standards.
  • Ensures compliance with government regulations and stays updated on new environmental engineering policies and technologies.
  • Supports engineering and project management in understanding and applying regulatory requirements based on permits and legislation.
  • Develops execution strategies and planning for project permitting.
  • Ensures that regulatory approvals are obtained to support project execution.
Qualifications:

Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in environmental engineering and 3 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Familiarity with environmental legislation and industry codes & standards affecting design, quality, or processes.
  • Experience with regulatory requirements and approval processes with USACE, PHMSA, USEPA.
  • Knowledge of technical theory, engineering principles, and good engineering practices, and how to apply them to design execution.
  • Understanding of major project delivery processes, including design and typical project deliverables.

Salary Range: $62,300.00 - $109,000.00
