Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. seeks a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst for a 100% on-site role at NSWC Dahlgren, VA, focusing on RMF A&A packages, continuous monitoring, and system testing to secure advanced systems.

Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and US citizenship are required. 2–5 years of security engineering experience and DoD policy knowledge are preferred; a BS in cybersecurity is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of program-specific security engineering experience, or five years of general security engineering experience.
• Two of the five years must be in Combat Weapons Systems like Aegis, SSDS, Zumwalt, or other Navy afloat tactical systems.
• IAT Level II or III certification, or equivalent DoD authorization, for ISSO/ISSE duties.

Responsibilities

• Author and revise DoD Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization artifacts.
• Document systems from a cybersecurity perspective using MS Word, Excel, Visio.
• Plan and document risk assessments against known vulnerabilities.
• Apply DISA STIGs and NSA recommendations to systems.
