Job summary

Theron Solutions in Santa Clara, CA seeks an accomplished cybersecurity leader with 15+ years of experience to drive business outcomes. You will oversee security programs, engage with CXOs and Boards, and coordinate with clients and internal teams to deliver high-impact results.

The role requires deep regulatory knowledge, strong stakeholder relationships, and a proven track record in delivering complex security initiatives while ensuring deadlines are met.

Qualifications

• 15+ years cybersecurity experience with knowledge of standards (DORA, NIS2, NIST CSF, ISO, CMMC, FEDRAMP, NYDFS, GLBA, HITRUST)
• Industry and academic credentials (e.g. CISM, CISSP, CEH, CISA)
• Proven leadership as a cybersecurity leader delivering business outcomes (CISO, CISO -1, Management Consultant)
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate with confidence across all levels including CXO and Board
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and demonstrate the ability to prioritize simultaneous activities and meet agreed deadlines
• Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholder groups
• Required to set and manage expectations with Clients and internal teams

Job description

• 15 years plus Cybersecurity experience with demonstrable knowledge of local enterprise and regulatory standards and frameworks (i.e. DORA, NIS2, NIST CSF, ISO, CMMC, FEDRAMP, NYDFS, GLBA, HITRUST)
• Industry and academic credentials (e.g. CISM, CISSP, CEH, CISA or relevant)
• You will be a recognized and established Cybersecurity Leader, an all-rounder with extensive business outcome delivery experience (CISO, CISO -1, Management Consultant)
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate with confidence across all levels including CXO and Board
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and demonstrate the ability to prioritize simultaneous activities and meet agreed deadlines
