Job Description
AbbVie is seeking a Security Architect with experience in mergers and acquisitions to join our Information Security Strategy and Intelligence group.
This position can be virtual/remote anywhere in the U.S.
Our Information Security group collaborates with business development teams during various stages of company relationships, including research-sharing and acquisitions. We provide advisory services to mitigate risks and reduce technical friction in these transactions.
The Security Architect will serve as a primary contact between security and other technical and business teams, operating at both operational and strategic levels. They will develop and coordinate security design and advisory responsibilities related to acquisitions and research ventures, interacting with research, business intelligence, technical teams, and the security group to develop and deliver security products and services. The role involves shaping the services provided by this program and ensuring security services are appropriately delivered during in-flight acquisitions.
This role resides within the Cyber Threat Intelligence team, with a dotted-line relationship to the security architecture group.
