Job Title: Senior Polyglot Software Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Polyglot Software Engineer who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys working across multiple languages, frameworks, and platforms. You will lead the design and development of scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software systems. In this role, your ability to choose the right tools for the job, mentor others, and architect robust solutions will be critical.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features and services.
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies, languages, and frameworks to improve developer efficiency and system performance.
• Architect systems that balance scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Lead and mentor junior and mid-level engineers; foster the best practices in software design, code quality, testing, and documentation.
• Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and incident response across cross-functional teams.
• Write clear, reusable, and well-tested code following SOLID and clean code principles.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 different programming languages in production systems.
• Proven experience designing and scaling distributed systems, RESTful APIs, or event-driven architectures.
• Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, caching strategies, and system design.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong focus on delivering value quickly and iteratively.
• Comfortable operating in Agile or hybrid methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-native application development (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue) is a plus.
• Contributions to open-source projects or experience in developer communities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively across teams and stakeholders.
