Job summary

GM Financial is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to lead the development and delivery of a comprehensive security program for GMF, protecting information, apps, and infrastructure while ensuring regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with IT, architects, and governance to define controls, perform risk assessments, and mentor staff.

Required: 7–10 years in IT/cybersecurity, cloud security experience, strong communication, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of IT or Cybersecurity experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field
• CISSP or CISM certification preferred
• Experience with cloud deployments and container security
• Strong knowledge of security architectures and controls

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a comprehensive Cybersecurity program
• Evaluate security requirements and conduct risk assessments
• Provide security requirements for solutions and improvements
• Advise on security policies and regulatory alignment
• Mentor team members on security issues
• Plan security architectures including PKI/CA and network devices
• Collaborate with stakeholders to minimize risks
• Promote cybersecurity awareness across the organization
