Job summary

GM Financial seeks a Senior Principal Cybersecurity Architect to lead enterprise security architecture, including AI and data domains, with direct reporting to the VP of Cybersecurity Architecture. This hybrid role requires strategic leadership and a focus on secure adoption of emerging technologies across the organization.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Cloud Security industry standards and cloud/SaaS solutions.
• POCs utilizing emerging technologies across Identity, Network, Data, App, and more.
• Familiarity with authentication solutions such as SSO, OAuth, MFA, and IAM.
• Exceptional analytical and technical skills with architecture and development expertise.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills to engage with executive stakeholders.
• Experience delivering technical solutions that address business challenges while leveraging new tech capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Enable the business in its strategic initiatives by applying appropriate security controls.
• Create security requirements for applications, solutions, networks, data warehouses, data analytics, and cloud environments.
• Develop architectural blueprints for secure application, network, and product development to support BI.
• Refine existing frameworks to mature security controls and services or suggest stronger alternatives.
• Lead complex SDLC security work, including supervision in build, test automation, and monitoring.
• Supervise security testing initiatives, including process design, effort estimation, and risk management.
