The Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Analyst to serve as a Cyber Control Assessor. In this critical role, you will be responsible for evaluating and validating the implementation of security controls across our customer’s information systems and networks. This position requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management frameworks, and DoD security requirements.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cybersecurity, particularly in assessing and implementing security controls within the DoD environment. You should be well-versed in the Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST standards, and DoD cybersecurity directives. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.



Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of security controls across information systems and networks

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented security measures and identify potential vulnerabilities

  • Develop and maintain RMF documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs) and security assessment reports

  • Perform security control validation using various tools and methodologies

  • Collaborate with system owners and IT teams to implement and improve security controls

  • Provide recommendations for remediation of identified security weaknesses

  • Assist in the preparation for security audits and inspections

  • Stay current with evolving cybersecurity threats, technologies, and best practices

  • Contribute to the development of cybersecurity policies and procedures


Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a cybersecurity-related discipline, or any Bachelor's degree with a cyber-related certification of CISSP or higher

  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience in cybersecurity

  • Current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

  • In-depth knowledge of RMF, NIST SP 800-53, and DoD cybersecurity directives

  • Experience with security assessment tools and methodologies

  • Strong understanding of network security, encryption, and access control technologies

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills


Desired:

  • Master's degree in Cybersecurity or related field

  • Additional certifications such as CISA, CEH, or Security+

  • Experience with eMASS and other DoD security management tools

  • Familiarity with Special Access Program security requirements

  • Knowledge of cloud security and emerging technologies

  • Experience in developing and delivering cybersecurity training programs

This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. Individuals who apply may also be considered for other positions at CACI.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
