Job summary

Remote is seeking an experienced risk advisory professional in San Francisco to drive risk programs across cyber, technology, and non-financial domains. You will lead CrossCountry engagements, build client relationships, and mentor teams while delivering actionable, data-driven insights.

You will apply knowledge across cybersecurity, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and governance programs, with opportunities to shape risk frameworks, reports, and strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor7s degree from an accredited university.
• Professional certification (CISA, CISM, CISSP, CIPT, CIPP, CIPM).
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 20%-30% (varies by client).
• Availability to work on client site or in office 3 days a week, with 2 days remote (hybrid environment).

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent client service and develop and nurture client relationships, serving as a liaison between clients and project teams, understanding their business needs, and delivering responsive and high-quality service.
• Lead CrossCountry teams on engagements such as Risk Transformation, Risks & Controls, Internal Audit, Regulatory Compliance, Reporting & Metrics.
• Apply specialized knowledge in non-financial risk domains across cybersecurity, technology, cloud, operational resiliency, data, third party, privacy, and product risk.
• Conduct research and analysis, leveraging data to derive insights and actionable recommendations for clients.
• Lead working meetings with clients and participate in formal client briefings.
• Oversee engagement planning, budget development, progress monitoring, and quality control of deliverables.
• Lead development of data-driven deliverables that solve client problems.
• Synthesize research and trends to inform deliverables, proposals, and market strategies.
• Participate in advancing Risk Advisory through recruiting, business development, thought leadership, and knowledge sharing.
• Serve as a coach and mentor to team members.
