Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners is seeking an Information Security Engineer in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) for a long-term contract with a leading financial services institution. You will engage in high-impact CyberArk engineering initiatives and enterprise PAM programs to safeguard critical systems.

You will review complex security challenges, provide architectural guidance, mentor junior engineers, and drive platform modernization to align with risk and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience.
• 7+ years of information security, infrastructure engineering, systems engineering, or IAM experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on CyberArk engineering experience.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale PAM implementations and engineering teams.
• Experience designing and supporting highly available and mission-critical security platforms.

Responsibilities

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Information Security Engineering.
• Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Information Security Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
• Serve as the technical lead for CyberArk engineering initiatives and enterprise PAM programs.
• Provide architectural guidance and engineering leadership for CyberArk platform capabilities.
• Drive technical strategy, platform modernization, and long-term PAM roadmap development.
• Lead design reviews, solution approvals, and engineering governance activities.
• Mentor and develop senior engineers, engineers, and early talent resources.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
• 7+ years of information security, infrastructure engineering, systems engineering, or identity and access management experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on CyberArk engineering experience.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale PAM implementations and engineering teams.
• Experience designing and supporting highly available and mission-critical security platforms.
