Job summary

By Light Professional IT Services LLC seeks training content developers to distill cyber-related training requirements into mature materials for Navy personnel. The role emphasizes thriving under pressure, translating complex concepts, and guiding cross-functional teams in a full-time on-site capacity in Pensacola, FL.

The ideal candidate will hold a related bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), have 5+ years in training development and instructional design, and be prepared to obtain IAT Level II

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education or Computer Science; six years of related experience may substitute.
• Ability to obtain IAT Level II certification within 6 months of hire.
• 5+ years of experience in training development, instructional design, and delivery methods.
• Experience developing training products using MIL-HDBK-29612-series.
• Strong knowledge of ADDIE process and Kirkpatrick evaluation model.
• Familiarity with LMS and content development tools (e.g., Camtasia, Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud).

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain technical training materials, courses, and curriculum.
• Develop curriculum using synchronous and asynchronous modalities (instructor-led, micro-learning, blended, self-paced).
• Employ rapid and agile techniques to create content for a changing environment.
• Use a variety of tools and technologies to create and deliver technical courses and documentation.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices to improve training.
• Assess course effectiveness through survey data analysis.
• Lead development and implementation of new learning models and content templates.
• Manage multiple projects from analysis to evaluation.
