Motion Recruitment Partners LLC is seeking a Technical Curriculum Analyst – Cybersecurity for a remote contract engagement. The role focuses on shaping a new cybersecurity curriculum aligned with CompTIA Security+ and CySA+ objectives, translating real-world concepts into practical learning content, and partnering with curriculum and product teams.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of professional cybersecurity experience.
• Experience in cybersecurity analysis, security operations, risk assessment, vulnerability management, compliance, or related area.
• Some experience creating, delivering, or supporting cybersecurity training or educational content.
• Current cybersecurity certification such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CISSP, CEH, or related credential.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain cybersecurity concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a cybersecurity subject matter expert and curriculum product partner.
• Help develop and organize curriculum aligned with CompTIA Security+ and CySA+ objectives.
• Translate real-world cybersecurity concepts and job skills into learning objectives and educational content.
• Review and provide technical guidance on cybersecurity lessons, exercises, assessments, and hands-on activities.
• Research current cybersecurity tools, practices, and employer expectations to keep curriculum relevant.
• Use AI tools to accelerate research, content development, assessment creation, and curriculum design.
• Collaborate with instructional designers, product teams, instructors, and other cybersecurity professionals.

Technical Curriculum Analyst – Cybersecurity
Remote Contract

We are looking for a Cybersecurity professional who enjoys teaching, training, or creating educational content to help develop a new cybersecurity curriculum focused on preparing learners for CompTIA Security+ and CySA+ certifications.

This is a great opportunity for a cybersecurity practitioner who wants to apply their technical experience in an education and curriculum development environment. You will help shape what students learn, translate real-world cybersecurity practices into practical learning content, and work with curriculum and product teams to build an engaging certification-focused learning experience.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as a cybersecurity subject matter expert and curriculum product partner

What We’re Looking For

• 4–6 years of professional cybersecurity experience
• Experience in cybersecurity analysis, security operations, risk assessment, vulnerability management, compliance, or a related area
• At least some experience creating, delivering, reviewing, or supporting cybersecurity training or educational content
• A current cybersecurity certification such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CISSP, CEH, or a related credential
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain cybersecurity concepts clearly

Preferred Experience

• Experience developing curriculum or training for cybersecurity certifications
• Experience with Learning Management Systems or digital learning platforms
• Experience developing cybersecurity labs, exercises, assessments, or instructional materials
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms
• Experience with cybersecurity risk assessment or compliance
• Cybersecurity experience in healthcare, including familiarity with HIPAA and related regulations
• Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Curriculum Developer, Instructor, or Cybersecurity SME
• Familiarity with NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, vulnerability management, incident response, or security operations

This is a project-based contract opportunity expected to run approximately 3–6 months, making it a good fit for a cybersecurity professional interested in applying their industry experience to workforce development and technical education.
