Job summary

By Light Professional IT Services LLC (CESI), a By Light company, seeks a Training Content Developer to distill cyber warfare and defense training into Navy-ready materials. This on-site Pensacola role requires strong instructional design, MIL-HDBK practices, and the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.

You will create curricula across modalities, apply ADDIE and Kirkpatrick models, use Camtasia and Articulate 360, and ensure alignment with learning objectives. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or Computer Science or six years of related experience substituted for degree.
• Ability to obtain IAT Level II certification within 6 months of hire.
• 5+ years in training development, instructional design, and delivery methods in technical/IT fields.
• Experience with MIL-HDBK-29612-series and ISD models.
• Strong instructional design principles and adult learning theory knowledge.
• Ability to translate complex concepts for varied learners.
• Experience with cyber-related topics and IT concepts.
• ADDIE, Kirkpatrick, and evaluation model familiarity.
• Proficiency with Camtasia, Articulate 360, Adobe CC; LMS exposure.
• Excellent writing, communication, and teamwork; ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain technical training materials and curricula.
• Develop curricula using synchronous and asynchronous modalities (ILT, micro-learning, blended, self-paced).
• Apply rapid, agile content creation for dynamic environments.
• Utilize a range of tools to develop and deliver courses and documentation.
• Incorporate new methodologies and tooling into curricula.
• Assess course effectiveness via survey data analysis.
• Lead development of new learning models and templates.
• Manage multiple projects end-to-end from analysis to evaluation.
