Quantum Sky is seeking a remote Cybersecurity Training Content Developer to design, create and implement advanced, hands-on security training and simulations for a Washington, DC client.

The role bridges complex cybersecurity operations and instructional design, ensuring workforce readiness against evolving threats. You will update materials using Adobe Captivate and other tools, address accessibility, and develop content for ISSO training and awareness campaigns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 6 years general work experience / 4 years relevant functional experience.
• 6+ years of experience with NIST, FISMA, and Security Assessment & Authorization.
• 4+ years of experience in IT security and awareness training program requirements.
• 4+ years of experience developing training requirements and training plans.
• 4+ years of experience using SCORM for training content development.
• 4+ years of experience developing new training content, materials, and courses.
• 4+ years of experience with Adobe products including Adobe Captivate for content development.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Use Adobe Captivate and other tools to update and improve the client’s current CSAT training, awareness campaign, and ISSO training materials.
• Develop content for new cybersecurity training, awareness campaign, ISSO training, and other security training materials.
• Maintain program materials to address new requirements and changes in cybersecurity policy, technology, and culture.
• Support and develop content for the program’s lunch and learn training sessions and the ISSO forum/training.
• Apply accessibility tools and address accessibility issues prior to the publishing of training and other program material.

This role requires a specialist responsible for designing, creating and implementing advanced, hands‑on security training, simulations, and educational programs. You willbridge the gap between complex technical cybersecurity operations and instructional design, ensuring workforce readiness against evolving threats.

Responsibilities:

• Perform content review, content development, and coordination activities on a team operating the client’s cybersecurity training and awareness program

Desired:

• Certifications:CISSP, GCIH, GCED, CySA+, or offensive certifications (CRTP, CPTS, PNPT).
• Specialized Knowledge:Cloud security (AWS/Azure), DevSecOps, Container Security, or Artificial Intelligence (AI) for security tools.
• Experience: xAPI and cmi5, Adobe Captivate, JCAM

Compensation:

• Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically between $110,000-$125,000. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
