Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4 years of cybersecurity or related security role.
• System administrator level analysis across multiple platforms.
• Knowledge of intrusion detection methodologies and cyber defense policies.

Responsibilities

• Proactively hunt threats across networks, endpoints, and security data.
• Analyze logs from multiple sources to detect suspicious activity.
• Establish baselines for normal traffic and data flows to improve detection.
• Collaborate with SOC analysts to identify new alerts and monitoring logic.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline threat hunting tasks.
• Research TTPs and formulate investigative leads.
• Support incident response with documentation and recommendations.
• Characterize malware to determine threat nature and impact.
• Apply reverse engineering to understand malicious code behavior.
