Job summary

AGE Solutions seeks a Cybersecurity Threat Hunter to defend enterprise environments and hunt for advanced threats. You will analyze large security datasets, develop hunting strategies, and automate detections using Splunk, Python, and PowerShell.

Role requires DoD Top Secret clearance, IAT-II and CSSP IR certifications, and onsite work in Columbus, OH. Collaboration with IR, Threat Detection, and Intelligence teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Five years of technical experience in Threat Intelligence, Cybersecurity Incident Response, Pen testing, Reverse Engineering, or Digital Forensics.
• Three years of experience analyzing attacker techniques at all levels of attack.
• Must possess a current DoD Top Secret Clearance with IT-I, T5 investigation.
• At least one IAT-II certification from CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, SSCP.
• At least one CSSP IR certification from CEH, CFR, CySA+, GCFA, GCIH, SCYBER.

Responsibilities

• Proactively hunt for advanced cyber threats and malicious activity within enterprise environments.
• Analyze network traffic, security logs, endpoint telemetry, and large datasets to identify anomalies.
• Develop and execute threat-hunting strategies to identify adversaries and compromises.
• Investigate attacker activity across the attack lifecycle and document TTPs.
• Apply the MITRE ATT&CK framework to identify and document adversary behaviors.
• Correlate security events with threat intelligence to surface threats and leads.
• Transform threat intelligence into actionable queries and detection opportunities.
• Develop and automate threat-hunting and detection capabilities using Splunk, Python, and PowerShell.
• Collaborate with Threat Detection, Threat Intelligence, SOC, and IR teams.
• Lead or support technical analysis during APT activity or compromises.
• Perform incident response activities including investigation, containment, and documentation.
• Identify vulnerabilities and mitigations uncovered during threat-hunting.
