Job summary

AGE Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Threat Hunter to defend enterprise environments from advanced cyber threats. You will hunt for adversaries beyond standard monitoring, turning threat intelligence into actionable investigations using Splunk, Python, and PowerShell.

You will collaborate with Threat Detection, Incident Response, and Cyber Threat Intelligence teams, analyze large security datasets, and apply MITRE ATT&CK to document attacker behaviors and develop new detection

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of technical experience in Threat Intelligence, Cybersecurity Incident Response, Penetration Testing, Reverse Engineering, or Digital Forensics.
• Three (3) years analyzing attacker techniques at all levels of attack.
• Must possess a current DoD Top Secret Clearance with IT-I, T5 investigation.
• Must have at least ONE IAT-II Certification from CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP.
• Must have at least ONE CSSP IR Certification from CEH, CFR, CySA+, GCFA, GCIH, SCYBER.
• Knowledge of security challenges across multiple OS.
• Ability to work with and analyze large data sets.
• Experience using Splunk, Python, and PowerShell.
• Ability to turn Threat Intelligence into actionable information.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Ability to document threat-hunting operations.

Responsibilities

• Proactively hunt for advanced cyber threats and malicious activity within enterprise environments.
• Analyze network traffic, security logs, endpoint telemetry, and large datasets to identify anomalies.
• Develop and execute threat-hunting strategies and uncover undetected compromises.
• Investigate attacker activity across the attack lifecycle using MITRE ATT&CK.
• Correlate security events with threat intelligence to identify emerging threats.
• Develop automated threat-hunting capabilities using Splunk, Python, and PowerShell.
• Collaborate with Threat Detection, Threat Intelligence, SOC, and IR teams to investigate suspicious activity.
• Lead or support technical analysis during APT activity or significant compromises.
• Perform incident response activities including investigation, containment, and documentation.
• Identify vulnerabilities and mitigation opportunities from hunting activities.
