Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires active SCI clearance with CI polygraph at time of application.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree with relevant experience per level; alternative experience considered.
• Security+ or CISSP certification.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Background with Systems Security Engineering as defined in NIST SP 800-160.
• Experience configuring Rapid7, Trellix, Splunk, and other cyber security tools.
• Experience with cloud security platforms (CSPM, CWPP, logging/monitoring).
• Working knowledge of DoD 8500-series and DoDI 8510.01 IA directives.
• Experience with RMF accreditation functions and documentation.
• Experience developing RMF assessment/authorization documents.

Responsibilities

• Apply Systems Security Engineering principles across the system lifecycle.
• Design, implement, and secure cloud infrastructures (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).
• Configure and operate cyber security tools (Rapid7, Trellix, Splunk).
• Implement and maintain cloud security platforms and monitoring.
• Interpret DoD 8500-series and DoDI 8510.01 directives.
• Lead RMF accreditation activities including documentation and vulnerability scanning.
• Develop and manage POA&M to track remediation and risk.
• Produce RMF artifacts (SSP, SA/POA, Contingency Plan, C/M Strategy).
• Collaborate with engineers and program management to validate security requirements.
• Provide guidance on cyber risks, mitigations, and trade-offs.
