Job summary

Serco is seeking a Cyber Systems Engineer for its CAF DMO 3.0 program in Hampton, VA. You will join a focused team to perform test, integration, and evaluation of M&S systems to support 5th and 6th gen training interoperability.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance (ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP/SAR) and a STEM degree with several years of engineering experience. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required (ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP/SAR).
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 5 years engineering test/integration experience, or an Associate’s with 7 years.
• Experience supporting DoD customers in a technical capacity.
• Familiarity with military training systems and M&S development/test.
• Must obtain DoD 8140 IAT Level II+ (Security+, CySA+, CISSP) within six months.

Responsibilities

• Support simulation system integration, evaluation, and interoperability testing for DMON and JSE training operations.
• Use industry-standard tools for test and evaluation (Wireshark, CGFs, etc.).
• Analyze network and system performance (latency, bandwidth, jitter, occupancy).
• Draft test plans, procedures, and reports from integration activities.
• Develop CONOPS and COAs for deployment of evaluated capabilities.
• Contribute to requirements reviews, training ops support, and basic system administration.
• Write and maintain test procedures and scripts (PowerShell, Cygwin, VBScript).
• Identify and resolve production/non-production application issues.
