Serco Inc. seeks a Cyber Systems Administrator for the CAF DMO 3.0 program in Hampton, VA, providing Tier 1/2 support and health checks for critical network infrastructure.

You will engage with IPTs, assist security teams, and aid in system optimization while maintaining DoD clearance requirements. Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance with Top Secret eligibility.
• Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering) with 2 years of relevant experience or an Associate's with 4 years.
• Must obtain DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification within six months of hire (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or CCNA Security).
• Familiarity with endpoint management tools like MECM for deployment/patch management.
• Understanding of Windows updates and enterprise patch management (WSUS a plus).
• Foundational knowledge of virtualization (VMware vSphere/ESXi) and basic VM provisioning.
• Experience with Windows Desktop OS (Win10/11) and basic Windows Server, AD, DNS.
• Some scripting knowledge (PowerShell or Bash).
• Exposure to IT monitoring tools and log analysis.
• Able to learn quickly in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monitoring and routine health checks of network infrastructure and systems.
• Provide Tier 1/2 support for daily operations and ticket resolution.
• Support incident response with initial troubleshooting and reporting.
• Participate in IPTs to learn engineering support activities.
• Assist security teams with basic system security assessments.
• Follow established processes and help identify areas for system optimization.
