Job summary

Serco seeks a Cyber Systems Administrator for the CAF DMO 3.0 program in Hampton, VA. You will monitor, patch, and support critical network infrastructure and systems in a virtual battlespace environment.

You will provide Tier 1/2 support, assist incident response, and participate in IPTs while learning from senior staff. DoD clearance and STEM degree with required experience are needed, with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance with Top Secret eligibility.
• BS in STEM with 2 years of relevant experience, or AS with 4 years.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification within six months.
• Familiarity with MECM and WSUS for patch management.
• Exposure to VMware vSphere/ESXi environments is highly desired.
• Experience with Windows desktops/AD/DNS knowledge.
• Scripting knowledge in PowerShell or Bash.
• Knowledge of IT monitoring tools and log analysis.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and work in fast-paced environments.
• PKI/ADCS, Ansible, and Exchange admin experience would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monitoring and routine health checks of critical network infrastructure and systems.
• Provide Tier 1/2 support for daily operations including patching and help desk resolution.
• Support incident response with initial troubleshooting and reporting.
• Participate in IPTs to learn and assist with engineering support activities.
• Support security teams with basic system security assessments for compliance.
• Collaborate with team to follow processes and identify optimization opportunities.
