Job summary

MILVETS Systems Technology, Inc. in Orlando, FL seeks a Level 3 Cyber Systems Administrator to manage advanced system administration, optimize infrastructure, resolve incidents, and support engineering in mission-critical environments.

The role requires a STEM degree, active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP/SAR access, DoD 8140 IAT II certification, and hands-on experience with MECM, VMware, WSUS, AD, PowerShell, and scripting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and active DoD clearance.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification within 6 months (e.g., Security+, CySA+, CISSP).
• 5+ years of relevant experience (Master’s degree may substitute for up to 2 years).

Responsibilities

• Lead monitoring and health assessments of enterprise infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot complex system, network, and virtualization issues.
• Manage patching, maintenance, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
• Coordinate incident response and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with IPTs to plan and execute engineering activities.
• Provide cybersecurity compliance support and audit readiness assistance.
• Identify inefficiencies and optimize system performance.
• Mentor junior administrators and promote best practices.
• Contribute to process engineering and modernization efforts.
