Job summary

Deloitte in the United States seeks a Cyber Security & Risk Strategy Senior Consultant to lead cyber strategy engagements, drive assessments, and design target operating models. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver transformation programs that strengthen cyber posture.

The role emphasizes PMO support, governance, and stakeholder management, with travel up to 50% based on project needs and client locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 4+ years of experience in cyber security, information security, or technology risk.
• 4+ years of experience in consulting, global system integrators, or large enterprise project teams.
• Experience in cyber risk or maturity assessments, operating model design, or program/project management.
• Experience with cyber assessments or security frameworks (NIST CSF, 800-53, ISO 27001).
• Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on work & clients.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Risk Management, Engineering, or similar.
• Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, ITIL, PMP, CIPM.
• Experience in banking/finance, aviation, transportation, property development, or pharmaceuticals.
• Experience with Cyber M&A diligence, sign-to-close, carveouts & integrations.
• Experience with governance, risk, compliance tools, IAM, SIEM, DLP, or data loss prevention.
• Experience with AWS or Azure security practices.
• Experience collaborating with finance/HR/IT/workstreams during assessment/operating model/transformations.
• Experience supporting PMO functions, including governance, status reporting, stakeholder management.
• Experience designing or implementing target operating models.

Responsibilities

• Support cyber strategy engagements across service types including risk & maturity assessments, TO design, and tech risk initiatives.
• Provide PMO support for cyber & technology programs with milestones, RAID logs, and cross-functional coordination.
• Contribute to development of repeatable methods, templates, and capabilities for cyber strategy and transformations.
• Assess client cyber and IT environments including infrastructure, databases, apps, workflows, and processes.
• Support design of target operating models including governance, roles, responsibilities, and processes.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders and Deloitte teams on multi-faceted assessment engagements.
• Deliver project work via research, analysis, recommendations, and implementation across domestic & global engagements.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team.
