Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Cyber Security & Risk Strategy Senior Consultant to join our Cyber Strategy & Transformation team in Houston. You will contribute to cyber strategy engagements, risk assessments, operating model design, and PMO support for complex programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Successful candidates bring 4+ years in cyber/security, consulting experience, and familiarity with NIST/ISO frameworks, with travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years in cyber security, information security, or technology risk.
• 4+ years in consulting, GIS, or large enterprise project teams.
• Experience with cyber risk/maturity assessments, operating model design, or PMO for cyber/tech initiatives.
• Experience with cyber assessments or frameworks (NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001).
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, based on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Support cyber strategy engagements across multiple service types (risk, maturity assessments, target operating model, technology risk).
• Provide PMO support for cyber/technology programs (milestones, RAID logs, cross-functional coordination).
• Develop repeatable methods, templates, capabilities for cyber strategy and transformation services.
• Assess client cyber and IT environments (infrastructure, databases, apps, workflows, processes).
• Design target operating models (organization, governance, roles, processes).
• Collaborate with client stakeholders and Deloitte teams across engagements.
• Deliver project work via research, analysis, recommendations, and implementation across domestic/global engagements.
