Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Manager in Cyber Strategy to help clients strengthen cybersecurity programs and align security investments with business goals. You will lead engagements across governance, strategy, risk, and operating model transformation, coordinating teams and delivering executive-level recommendations.

The role requires 5+ years in cybersecurity consulting or a related field, mastery of industry standards, and the ability to travel 25-50%.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, CS, Engineering, Business or related field; 5+ years of relevant experience, or graduate degree with 4+ years of experience.
Experience in cybersecurity assessments, governance, risk management, and transformation initiatives.
Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001/27002, CIS Controls, PCI DSS).
Familiarity with HIPAA, FISMA, GLBA laws/regulations.
Willingness to travel 25-50%.

Responsibilities

Lead and support cybersecurity strategy, governance, and transformation engagements across industries.
Assess programs, operating models, governance structures, policies, standards, and controls to identify risks and gaps.
Develop strategies, target operating models, governance frameworks, roadmaps, and executive recommendations.
Manage engagement workstreams, lead teams, and ensure client satisfaction within timelines and budgets.
Monitor threats and regulatory developments; contribute to business development and thought leadership.
