The role demands strong consulting, leadership and communication skills, with travel up to 50% and a focus on delivering practical senior-level recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, CS, Engineering, Business, Risk Management or related field with ~5+ years of experience; or graduate degree with ~4+ years.
• Experience in cybersecurity assessments, governance, risk management, strategy and roadmaps.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001/27002, CIS Controls and PCI DSS.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, FISMA, GLBA; client-facing engagements; strong written and verbal skills.
• Willingness to travel 25-50% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity strategy, governance and transformation engagements.
• Assess programs, operating models, policies, standards and controls.
• Develop strategies, target operating models and roadmaps; provide exec-level recommendations.
• Manage engagement workstreams, lead teams and ensure on-time delivery and budget.
• Support business development, proposals and thought leadership.
