Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a Manager in Cyber Strategy to help clients strengthen cybersecurity programs and align security investments to business goals. You will lead engagements across governance, strategy, and operating model transformation, delivering executive-level recommendations.

You'll manage workstreams, guide teams, and collaborate with EY's cybersecurity professionals to provide integrated solutions. Travel 25-50% is expected based on client needs and engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information systems, computer science, engineering, business, risk management, or a related field.
• Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience; graduate degree with ~4+ years acceptable.
• Experience in cybersecurity assessments, governance, and risk management across industries.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards: NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001/27002, CIS Controls, PCI DSS.
• Willingness to travel 25-50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity strategy, governance, and transformation engagements across a range of industries.
• Assess cybersecurity programs, operating models, governance, policies, standards, and controls to identify risks and gaps.
• Develop cybersecurity strategies, target operating models, governance frameworks, and executive-level recommendations.
• Monitor emerging threats, regulatory developments, and translate insights into client recommendations.
• Collaborate with EY teams to deliver integrated client solutions and support business development.
