Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Classified Cyber Security Technologist Sr. to join a team protecting classified systems. You will design, implement, and monitor cybersecurity controls, leveraging SIEM, DLP, and vulnerability scanning within a DevSecOps framework and AI-enabled security operations.

The role requires DoD 8570 IASAE II certification, experience with DISA STIGs/SRGs, RMF, and a TS/SCI with poly clearance. On-site in Orlando, FL with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• DoD8140/8570 IASAE Level II certification (e.g., CASP CE, CISSP) is required.
• Experience with core cybersecurity tools: SIEM, DLP, vulnerability scanning, etc.
• Proven track record hardening Windows and RHEL using DISA STIGs/SRGs and implementing NIST SP800-53 controls.
• Deep knowledge of DAAPM, JSIG, or RMF as a security framework SME.
• Hands on DevSecOps practices and AI integration for security operations.
• Top Secret clearance to start, with ability to obtain TS/SCI w/ Poly.

Responsibilities

Standard Job Description

The selected individual will serve as a Classified Cyber Security Technologist Sr. In this role, the selected individual will collaborate with a team of cybersecurity professionals and work closely with the Information System Security Manager(s) to implement and monitor comprehensive cybersecurity solutions. This will involve identifying, designing, securing, and deploying specialized applications and tools that support the governance and risk management of classified systems, infrastructure, and tools, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of classified assets. The selected candidate will also help design and document advanced risk governance operations to implement proactive security methodologies for classified programs. This position requires an understanding of DevSecOps, Artificial Intelligence (AI), software development and related security controls, as well as a mindset focused on automation-enabled cybersecurity for day-to-day activities. Plans, implements, monitors, and upgrades security measures for the protection of the program data, systems, and networks. Ensures that the organization's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls. Troubleshoots technical security and network problems. Leads system and/or network security breaches response. Participates in the change management process. Tests and identifies network and system vulnerabilities. Coordinates activities with the ISSM and IT lead to ensure systems are secure and technically ready for inspection. Identifies requirements for verification and validates, and creates, understands, and updates systems design and architecture. Develops and installs operating security monitoring solutions. Opening of a requisition within this job code and completing a JAR into this job code requires the approval of the associated Business Areas Classified Cyber Security Director.

Basic Qualifications

• DoD8140/8570 IASAE Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA CASP CE, CISSP (or Associate), CSSLP).
• Demonstrated experience with core cybersecurity tools: SIEM, DLP, vulnerability scanning, etc.
• Proven track record hardening Windows and RHEL systems using approved DISA STIGs/SRGs and implementing NIST SP800 53 controls.
• Deep knowledge of DAAPM, JSIG, or RMF as a security framework SME.
• Hands on expertise in DevSecOps practices and AI integration for security operations.
• Top Secret clearance to start, with ability and willingness to obtain TS/SCI w/ Poly

Desired Skills

• Advanced Splunk proficiency – writing queries, building dashboards, integrating third party apps.
• Experience designing secure networks: defining security and operational objectives, risk mitigation strategies.
• Familiarity with complex environments: data centers, cloud platforms, cross domain solutions, NSA Type1/CSfC encryption.
• Proven ability to conduct internal/external customer assessments, identify gaps, and develop corrective action plans.
• Capability to evaluate system changes, advise ISSMs, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• History of deploying enterprise level technologies with minimal disruption and delivering training/support to end users.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00
