Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Huntsville is seeking a cybersecurity engineer to apply an interdisciplinary approach across the lifecycle, conducting risk assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability analyses. You will coordinate with cyber architects and developers to oversee solution design and verification, ensuring compliance with requirements and security standards.

The role requires DoD Secret clearance or higher, DoD 8570 IAT II certification, and strong Windows/Linux systems administration

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of related experience or a Master's degree with 0 years of related experience
  • Must have a DoD Secret clearance or higher
  • Must have a DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (ex: Security + CE)
  • Experience with VMware ESXi, VMware vCenter
  • Experience with LAN and WAN management
  • Strong systems administrator experience, specifically in Windows/Linux Operating Systems environments
  • Must be able to support an in-person, closed-area work environment 100% of the time
  • Experience with Solaris, Unix, RHEL and Cisco Networks
  • Familiarity with CSM (Cyber Security Manager) systems
  • Familiarity with Network Technologies and Cybersecurity
  • Experience working with cloud technologies and platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, develop, validate and verify Cyber solutions across the lifecycle.
  • Conduct cyber risk assessment activities including threat modeling, vulnerability analysis and mitigation analysis.
  • Coordinate with Cyber and system architects to oversee solution development.
  • Conduct cybersecurity test and evaluation of hardware and/or software designs to verify compliance with specifications.
  • Employ cyber security processes, methods and tools and ensure consistent application.
  • Implement Assessment and Authorization activities as required by customers.

Education

Bachelor's degree in STEM from an accredited university with 2 years related experience or Master's degree with 0 years related experience

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $81100.00 - $150500.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
