Title: Cyber Security Systems Engineer

Location: Reston, Virginia

Work Arrangement: Fully On–Site

Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI w/ CI Poly (Poly is a must have)

Certification Required: Security+

Key Skills Required:

1. 2+ years of experience installing and configuring Linux and Windows operating systems.
2. 1+ years of experience securing operating systems and applying Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
3. Experience setting up workstations and ensuring their optimal performance.
4. 2+ years of experience utilizing Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools, preferably Splunk, and Tenable Nessus.
5. Experience developing and managing Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages.
6. Ability to apply foundational networking knowledge and experience.
7. Security+ Certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure Linux and Windows operating systems.

• Set up workstations and ensure their optimal performance.
• Utilize Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools, preferably Splunk, and Tenable Nessus.

Major Duties:

Administer various operating system distributions, provide support for server and network infrastructure, oversee the installation and configuration of systems to comply with government regulations, test system and software implementations, and troubleshoot technical issues.

Additional Requirements:

This position requires an active DoD Clearance (Secret, Top Secret, Top Secret/SCI) or the ability to obtain an (Interim Secret, Interim Top Secret). U.S. Citizenship is required.
