Summary:
The Cyber Security & Control Systems (CSCS) Storage & Virtual (S&V) Program Engineer is an on-site position located at Hanscom AFB, MA. The CSCS S&V Program supports the Server Consolidation Environment (SCE) and Air Force Provisional Enterprise Data Center (AFPEDC) programs. This role includes the testing, implementation, and sustainment of solutions, ensuring system performance, and applying industry-standard concepts, practices, and procedures. This position will work closely with appropriate teams and will act as a liaison for AFLCMC/HNI.
The primary role for this position is to support the AFPEDC system located in the Hanscom Integration and Test Facility (ITF). The equipment in ITF is similar to the production environment and is primarily used for development and verification of Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO) and other changes necessary to incorporate into AFPEDC production. The CSCS S&V architect will provide on-site and remote engineering and integration services for the architecture and integration of products to include system architecture, solution design, performance audits, system reviews, documentation, and data migration. Other duties include performing site audits and technical account management such as managing third parties, providing technical assistance and mentoring as directed by the PMO, as well as providing cybersecurity recommendations in support of ATO within the RMF system.
