Nisga'a CIOPS provides hands-on experienced services to civilian and DoD programs worldwide. Delivering highly skilled, cleared personnel who provide services on five continents for a portfolio of customers.

Summary:

The Cyber Security & Control Systems (CSCS) Storage & Virtual (S&V) Program Engineer is an on-site position located at Hanscom AFB, MA. The CSCS S&V Program supports the Server Consolidation Environment (SCE) and Air Force Provisional Enterprise Data Center (AFPEDC) programs. This role includes testing, implementation, and sustainment of solutions, ensuring system performance, and applying industry-standard concepts, practices, and procedures. The position will work closely with relevant teams and act as a liaison for AFLCMC/HNI.

The primary role is to support the AFPEDC system at Hanscom ITF, which is similar to the production environment and used for development and verification of TCTOs and other changes for AFPEDC production. The architect will provide engineering and integration services including system architecture, solution design, performance audits, system reviews, documentation, and data migration. Additional duties include site audits, technical account management, providing cybersecurity recommendations, and supporting ATO within the RMF system.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide integration of new applications, including design reviews, material requirements, and coordination with application teams or contractors.
• Document as-built drawing changes.
• Perform system expansion or contraction planning.
• Support onboarding of new applications and migration of existing applications as required.
• Provide VMware, Cisco UCS, SAN, and Commvault engineering support for data center consolidation.
• Conduct IA assessments and remediation.
• Monitor system performance regularly.
• Resolve deployment issues in the production environment.
• Review contractor submittals of system design and architecture reports.
• Evaluate existing architecture and site-specific services for change requirements.
• Assist in creating and implementing architecture and design best practices.
• Generate and test TCTOs for site changes.
• Travel within the continental US approximately twice a year, with potential for additional travel.
• Provide troubleshooting, configuration, and management support as needed.

Risk & Compliance Management:

• Ensure compliance with DoD, Air Force, and industry security standards.
• Maintain operational readiness per procedures and policies.
• Assist in risk assessments and mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

• Leadership experience managing multidisciplinary staff.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Technical knowledge of network and systems infrastructure.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in mission-critical environments.
• Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, and technical personnel.
• Familiarity with DoD & U.S. Air Force procedures and AFIN.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Degree in a related field plus at least 7 years of relevant experience, or 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with enterprise storage, SAN, NAS, and migration.
• Experience supporting DoD Information Network, AFIN, or equivalent.
• IA Technician (IAT) Level II Certification.
• Current SECRET security clearance or higher.
• At least two of the following:
• Dell/EMC SAN and VMware virtualization
• Commvault and EMC Data Domain
• Brocade Fabric switching
• NCIE NetApp SAN Engineer
• Microsoft Server (8+ years)
• CyberArk Level 2: Defender
• Cisco CCDA and experience with routers, switches, fabric
• Cisco UCS in virtual environments
• Cisco CCT Data Center
