Summary:
The Cyber Security & Control Systems (CSCS) Storage & Virtual (S&V) Program Engineer is an on-site position located at Hanscom AFB, MA. The CSCS S&V Program supports the Server Consolidation Environment (SCE) and Air Force Provisional Enterprise Data Center (AFPEDC) programs. This role includes testing, implementation, and sustainment of solutions, ensuring system performance, and applying industry-standard concepts, practices, and procedures. The position will work closely with relevant teams and act as a liaison for AFLCMC/HNI.
The primary role is to support the AFPEDC system at Hanscom ITF, which is similar to the production environment and used for development and verification of TCTOs and other changes for AFPEDC production. The architect will provide engineering and integration services including system architecture, solution design, performance audits, system reviews, documentation, and data migration. Additional duties include site audits, technical account management, providing cybersecurity recommendations, and supporting ATO within the RMF system.
