Summary:
The Hanscom Site Lead / Cyber Security & Control Systems (CSCS) Storage & Virtual (S&V) Program Support Architect is an on-site position located at Hanscom AFB, MA. The CSCS S&V Program supports the Server Consolidation Environment (SCE) and Air Force Provisional Enterprise Data Center (AFPEDC) programs. This role includes testing, implementation, and sustainment of solutions, ensuring system performance, and applying industry-standard concepts, practices, and procedures. The position will work closely with appropriate teams and act as a liaison for AFLCMC/HNI.
The primary role is to support the AFPEDC system located in the Hanscom Integration and Test Facility (ITF). The equipment in ITF is similar to the production environment and is primarily used for development and verification of Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO) and other changes necessary to incorporate into AFPEDC production. The CSCS S&V architect will provide on-site and remote engineering and integration services, including system architecture, solution design, performance audits, system reviews, documentation, and data migration. Additional duties include site audits, technical account management, managing third parties, providing technical assistance and mentoring as directed by the PMO, and providing cybersecurity recommendations supporting ATO within the RMF system.
