The Opportunity

The Senior Zscaler Engineer will oversee the implementation, management, and optimization of Zscaler security solutions, working closely with various teams to ensure network security and performance, conduct risk assessments, and respond to security incidents.

Our Zero Trust services help clients align security strategies with business goals, managing access and enforcing policies with third-party vendor support across strategy, assessment, testing, and implementation of Zero Trust solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Zscaler security solutions to protect our network infrastructure.
• Monitor and optimize security configurations for Zscaler services.
• Conduct security assessments and audits of network environments.
• Collaborate with IT and network teams for secure deployment and management.
• Respond to security incidents involving Zscaler solutions.
• Implement and manage security policies within the Zscaler platform.
• Ensure compliance with regulations like GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
• Provide training on Zscaler security best practices.
• Stay updated on Zscaler security trends and technologies.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Solid understanding of Zscaler solutions, including ZIA and ZPA.
• Experience configuring and managing Zscaler services.
• Knowledge of network security practices and standards.
• Ability to implement security controls and manage network security principles.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in network security or similar roles.
• Proficiency with Zscaler security solutions and network security tools.
• Familiarity with compliance standards like GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications such as Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional (ZCCP), CISSP, or similar are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in Zscaler or cloud security technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of Zscaler architecture, deployment, and scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
