The Opportunity

The Senior Zscaler Engineer will oversee the deployment, management, and optimization of Zscaler security solutions. Responsibilities include working with teams to secure network infrastructure, conducting risk assessments, and handling security incidents.

Our Zero Trust services assist clients in aligning security strategies with business objectives, managing access, and enforcing policies. We collaborate with third-party vendors to deliver comprehensive services including strategy, assessment, testing, and implementation of Zero Trust solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Zscaler security solutions.
• Monitor and configure Zscaler services.
• Conduct security assessments and audits.
• Collaborate with IT and network teams for secure deployment.
• Respond to security incidents involving Zscaler solutions.
• Implement security policies within Zscaler platform.
• Ensure compliance with regulations like GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2.
• Provide training on Zscaler security best practices.
• Stay updated on Zscaler security trends and technologies.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Strong knowledge of Zscaler solutions (ZIA, ZPA).
• Experience managing Zscaler services.
• Understanding of network security best practices.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in network security.
• Knowledge of Zscaler solutions and network security tools.
• Familiarity with compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional, CISSP) are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in Zscaler and other cloud security technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of Zscaler architecture and deployment.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
