The opportunity

The Senior Zscaler Engineer will oversee the implementation, management, and optimization of Zscaler security solutions. This involves collaborating with teams to ensure network security and performance, conducting risk assessments, and responding to security incidents.

Our Zero Trust services help clients align security strategies with business goals, managing access and enforcing policies with the support of third-party vendors. Our services include strategy, assessment, testing, and deployment of Zero Trust solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

1. Design, implement, and manage Zscaler security solutions to safeguard our network infrastructure.
2. Monitor and manage security configurations for Zscaler services.
3. Perform regular security assessments and audits.
4. Collaborate with IT and network teams for secure deployment and management.
5. Respond to and investigate security incidents involving Zscaler solutions.
6. Implement and manage security policies within Zscaler platform.
7. Ensure compliance with regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2.
8. Provide training on Zscaler security best practices.
9. Stay updated on Zscaler security trends and technologies.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Solid understanding of Zscaler solutions, including ZIA and ZPA.
• Experience in configuring and managing Zscaler services.
• Knowledge of network security best practices and standards.
• Ability to implement security controls in networks.
• Understanding of network security principles.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective documentation skills.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in network security or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of Zscaler solutions and features.
• Experience with network security tools and standards.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks like GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Relevant certifications such as Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional (ZCCP), CISSP are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in Zscaler products.
• Knowledge of additional cloud security tools and platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash.
