As a key member of our Zscaler team, you will help clients understand and manage their complex Enterprise Identity environments, evaluating and implementing innovative Zero Trust solutions tailored to their needs.

The Opportunity

The Senior Zscaler Engineer will oversee the deployment, management, and optimization of Zscaler security solutions. This includes collaborating with teams to ensure network security, conducting risk assessments, and responding to security incidents.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Zscaler security solutions.
• Monitor and adjust security configurations for Zscaler services.
• Conduct security assessments and audits.
• Collaborate with IT and network teams for secure deployment.
• Respond to security incidents involving Zscaler solutions.
• Implement security policies within the Zscaler platform.
• Ensure compliance with regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2.
• Train internal teams on Zscaler security practices.
• Stay updated on Zscaler security trends and threats.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Deep understanding of Zscaler solutions (ZIA, ZPA).
• Experience configuring and managing Zscaler services.
• Knowledge of network security best practices.
• Ability to implement security controls.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent documentation skills.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in network security.
• Proficiency with Zscaler solutions.
• Experience with network security tools and standards.
• Understanding of compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
• Effective communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional, CISSP) are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in Zscaler or related cloud security technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
