By Light Professional IT Services LLC (CESI) in Annapolis Junction, MD, seeks a Cyber Range Operations Manager to lead Range Operations pods and ensure on-schedule delivery of range builds, validation, and project tasks.

The role oversees performance management, timesheet reviews, and mentoring, while coordinating with customers and internal leads to align with objectives and technical standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, systems engineering, software engineering, cybersecurity, or related field, or 6-8 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 6-8 years of systems engineering, cyber range operations, technical project management, test engineering, or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct people management for assigned Range Operations personnel.
• Serve as first-level escalation point for personnel matters and workload concerns.
• Review, validate, and approve employee timesheets per policy and contract requirements.
• Mentor personnel and support employee development through coaching and training recommendations.
• Coordinate with customers, exercise planners, and external stakeholders to understand scope and milestones.
